Multisensory Teaching Approach (MTA) Workshops
Kris Smith Educational Services offers introductory and advanced workshops on the Multisensory Teaching Approach (MTA). The general information for these workshops is as follows.
Introductory MTA Workshops
- A five-day workshop from 8:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.
- Will have 2 follow-up workshop days scheduled during the school year.
- MTA Kit 1 is covered in the 5-day workshop.
- MTA Kits 2 and 3 are covered during the follow-up workshops, along with additional information.
Total workshop hours: 48 hours
Cost:
$800.00 per participant
$750.00 per participant - 4 or more from the same school district
*On-site workshop dates may be scheduled at any time and require a minimum of 10 teachers.
Cancellation Policy
A registration is made once Kris Smith Educational Services receives a registration form.
- $50.00 per teacher charge if canceled 14 days in advance.
- $150.00 per teacher charge if canceled less than 14 days in advance.
- No refund for more than two teachers canceled per district.
- No-shows are charged at full tuition rate.
*Supplies are not included in tuition fee.
Advanced MTA Workshops
Email Kris for registration forms and materials list.
- Will cover MTA Kits 4-7 and additional information
Cost:
$340.00 per participant
Total contact hours: 18 hours
Cancellation Policy
A registration is made once Kris Smith Educational Services receives a registration form.
- $75.00 per teacher charge if canceled less than 10 days in advance.
- No refund for more than two teachers canceled per district.
- No-shows are charged at full tuition rate.
- Cancellations made the week of scheduled training are invoiced at the full tuition.
*Supplies are not included in tuition fee.
